Frankfurt Airport is expecting flight cancellations and delays Thursday as its apron control workers, represented by the German union GdF, announced a strike for Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time, according to a statement on the airport’s website. Apron control staff direct aircraft in and out of parking positions.
GdF said it planned the strike after failing to reach a wage agreement with airport operator Fraport.
