Norwegian passenger traffic up 18% in March

Norwegian Air Service (NAS) transported more than1.3 million passengers in March, up 18% compared to the year-ago month. Load factor was 78% and RASK grew 5%.
The carrier will take delivery of 13 new Boeing aircraft in 2012. The first five aircraft have been delivered. Forty-six of the airline’s 62 aircraft are now Wi-Fi-enabled. NAS transported close to 16 million passengers in 2011 and is the third largest low-cost airline in Europe.
NAS operates 294 routes to more than 114 destinations and employs approximately 2,500 people.
