CAE sells more than $50 million in flight simulators to airlines

CAE said it sold four Level D full-flight simulators, as well as four CAE Simfinity trainers, to airline customers in Asia and Europe, in contracts worth approximately C$ 50 million ($ 51.4 million).
Lufthansa Flight Training ordered a CAE 5000 Series Airbus A320 FFS and three A320 CAE Simfinity integrated procedures trainers; Xiamen Airlines ordered two CAE 7000 Series Boeing 737NG FFSs as well as a CAE Simfinity Virtual Maintenance Trainer; and an A320 FFS was sold to an undisclosed airline in Asia, for delivery in the second half of 2011. CAE said the contracts bring the total number of FFS sales during fiscal year 2011 to 27.
