Ryanair scales back on Moroccan presence

Ryanair has cancelled 34 weekly services in Morocco, citing higher charges levied by the country’s airports authority, ONDA.
The carrier will withdraw the following four times weekly services as of 1 October – Nador-Girona, Nador-Madrid, Oujda-Marseille, Oujda-Brussels Charleroi and Fez-London Stansted.
It will also cancel the Marrakesh-Valencia flights, which are operated six times weekly.
Additionally, Ryanair is reducing frequencies on several other routes, also effective 1 October.
Its Tangier-Madrid route becomes four times weekly, while both Fez-Brussels Charleroi and Marrakech-London Luton will be scaled back to twice weekly services.
